Terms and Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using Commander AI ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Software.

Definitions

In these Terms:

• "Commander AI," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the provider and owner of the Software.
• "Software" means the Commander AI application and related services.
• "User," "you," or "your" refers to the individual or entity using the Software.
• "Polar" refers to Polar Software Inc., our third-party payment service provider.

Beta Period

Commander AI is currently in Public Beta. During the beta period:

• The Software is provided free of charge to all users.
• Features, functionality, and system requirements may change without notice as we develop and refine the product.
• We welcome feedback and bug reports to improve the Software.
• No warranty of stability, uptime, or continued availability is provided during the beta period.
• We reserve the right to introduce paid licensing models after the beta period concludes, with advance notice to users.

License Grant

During the beta period, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Software on your macOS devices, subject to these Terms. This license includes:

• Access to all beta features and updates during the beta period.
• The right to provide feedback and report issues.
• No guaranteed support or maintenance obligations during beta.

Future Licensing Models

Upon completion of the beta period, we may introduce paid licensing options which may include:

• Perpetual licenses: A one-time purchase granting perpetual use of the major version purchased, activatable on up to 3 devices simultaneously.
• Annual subscriptions: Access for the duration of the paid subscription period, activatable on up to 3 devices simultaneously.
• Educational licenses: Free or discounted access for students, teachers, and educational institutions, subject to verification and annual renewal.

Beta users will receive advance notice of any pricing changes and transition plans.

System Requirements

• The Software requires macOS 15.0 (Sequoia) or later.
• Internet connection is required for software functionality and communication with Claude Code services.
• An Anthropic API key is required to use Claude Code features.

Support and Updates

• During beta, support is provided on a best-effort basis via email and community channels.
• Updates may be released frequently and may include breaking changes.
• We reserve the right to discontinue or modify features at any time during the beta period.

General Disclaimer: THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. COMMANDER AI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Intellectual Property Disclaimer: COMMANDER AI DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT, COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, TRADE SECRET, OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT OF ANY THIRD PARTY.

Security Disclaimer: WHILE COMMANDER AI IMPLEMENTS REASONABLE SECURITY MEASURES, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE OR FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COMMANDER AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, AGENTS, AND RESELLERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COMMANDER AI'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Intellectual Property Rights

The Software, including all code, content, graphics, user interfaces, and other intellectual property, is owned or licensed by Commander AI and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

Any output or content created by you using the Software (such as code, documents, or other creative works) belongs to you or its respective owner.

Restrictions: You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Software; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; or use the Software to build a competitive product.

Third-Party Services and Trademarks

Commander AI is built on top of Claude Code and requires an Anthropic API key. Commander AI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic PBC, Apple Inc., or any other third party.

All third-party product names, logos, and brands mentioned are the property of their respective owners:

• Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic PBC.
• Apple, macOS, Swift, Xcode, and SwiftUI are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

Any use of third-party trademarks is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license immediately if you breach any material provision of these Terms. You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing all use of the Software and deleting it from all devices.

Upon termination, your license to use the Software will immediately terminate, and you must cease all use of the Software.

Data Privacy

Commander AI processes code and data locally on your device. Communication with Claude Code services is governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policies. We do not collect, store, or transmit your code or project data to our servers.

Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim against Commander AI, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. Both parties agree to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days before proceeding to formal dispute resolution.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and we agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration administered by the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, Poland.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Warsaw, Poland.
